Brooke Boysaw, 5th-Grade Collab Teacher
Ms. Boysaw is always prepared and ready to jump in wherever she is needed, regardless of the subject or role. Brooke knows her students so well, and they feel comfortable in her class. She is an amazing leader and mentor, especially to newer teachers. Not only does she excel in her collab role, she also helps with grade-level teachers, whether it's stepping in to lead a lesson in a way that fits the needs of her kids or helping plan a lesson. She is AMAZING! We don't know what fifth grade would look like without her!
Evan Delagi, Special Education TA
Mr. Delagi consistently demonstrates leadership, flexibility, and a strong commitment to our school. When a 5th-grade substitute was urgently needed, he stepped in for the entire second quarter, going above and beyond to support students and staff as a true team player.
As a SPED TA, he continues to make a meaningful impact by building strong relationships with students and providing thoughtful, individualized support. His ability to connect with students helps them feel comfortable, confident, and ready to grow. He asks thoughtful questions, takes initiative, and consistently supports student success. He has proven to be a dependable, compassionate, and valued member of our team.
Chloe Hoes, Special Education TA
Ms. Hoes consistently demonstrates exceptional leadership, dedication, and a deep commitment to supporting both students and staff within the Learning Lab and in our school community. She goes beyond daily expectations by implementing a positive and structured learning environment where all students feel supported and valued. She works hard to meet the diverse needs of students, often anticipating challenges, keeping students safe, and proactively implements strategies that lead to meaningful growth - academically, socially, and behaviorally. The impact Ms. Hoes has on our campus is noticeable and significant. She exemplifies the spirit of this award through her unwavering commitment to excellence and genuine care for others.
Kelly Jones, Kinder TA
Mrs. Jones is an invaluable member of our kindergarten team, consistently demonstrating flexibility, reliability, and a strong commitment to student success. She supports multiple classrooms seamlessly, ensuring both teachers and students feel supported wherever she is needed. She approaches every responsibility with positivity and professionalism, from assisting during specials to supporting lunch and recess. Always willing to help, she contributes to a smooth, nurturing learning environment. Through one-on-one support and engaging activities, she helps children build foundational skills while boosting their confidence and love of learning. Her warm, caring nature makes students feel valued and supported.Her impact extends across the entire campus, as she is always willing to help staff and students wherever needed.
Jara Neal, Special Education TA
Ms. Neal consistently adapts to the changing needs of the classroom with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed. She has a strong understanding of her students and builds meaningful relationships that allow her to support them effectively. Jara ensures students stay engaged, on task, and working toward their goals while encouraging independence and growth.
She plays an important role in helping students make progress by reinforcing instructional goals and maintaining a structured, supportive learning environment. Ms. Neal’s impact on our students and team is both meaningful and lasting, and she is truly deserving of this recognition.

Heather Campbell, Parent Volunteer
Ms. Campbell is very helpful in many ways inside and outside the classroom as well as in the library. She helps take on any task given and is so understanding when things are sometimes last minute. Whether working with small groups, assisting with activities, or stepping in wherever needed, she approaches every task with enthusiasm and care. Her willingness to give her time so generously reflects a true commitment to our school community. We are incredibly grateful for her partnership and the difference she makes each day.
Alycen Fink, Counselor
Ms. Fink goes above and beyond in many ways that are seen and unseen. She hosts a lunch bunch with students, and the kids look forward to it every week. She also teaches amazing lessons with her puppet “Puppy.” Her kind, upbeat, and compassionate personality makes her very approachable to kids and adults alike. She is also a miracle-worker at making the kids feel better when they are having a rough day. We are thankful for the positive impact Ms. Fink has on FTE and all that she does to make our school a brighter place!
Michael Rivera, Head Custodian
Mr. Rivera plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where students and staff can thrive. His attention to detail and strong work ethic ensure our school is always orderly, allowing students to focus and feel supported. He consistently goes above and beyond, anticipating staff needs and providing dependable support. During last year’s classroom moves, he handled furniture and equipment with care and professionalism, helping make a potentially stressful transition smooth for everyone. Mr. Rivera is also a positive presence around campus, especially during lunch, where he connects with students and contributes to a supportive school culture. His dedication, kindness, and commitment truly embody the spirit of the Good Samaritan Award.

Cursten Roe, SPED 4th-Grade Teacher
Ms. Roe’s vision came to life in 2024 with the introduction of the FTE Cultural Corner, a truly innovative and inclusive initiative that has transformed our school environment. By creating a dedicated space to honor celebrations like Hispanic Heritage Month, Diwali, Ramadan, Hanukkah, and Black History Month, she has ensured that every member of our community feels seen and valued.
It is a joy to watch students pause in the hallways to admire the displays, a testament to the collaborative spirit Cursten fosters among students, teachers, and parents alike. We are so grateful for her dedication to this passion project; her kind heart and above and beyond attitude have made our school a much warmer, more loving place.

Morgan Bertozzi, Cafeteria Monitor & Special Education TA
Mrs. Bertozzi has an incredible impact on our campus. She has been a huge asset to FTE, supporting with dedication and heart. In the cafeteria, she remains calm under pressure and leads with care and patience, creating a positive and well-managed environment for students. In her special education role, she has jumped in with a can-do attitude, great energy, and a strong willingness to learn. She consistently shows compassion and commitment, making meaningful connections with students and supporting them in their growth. She has been a huge support to teachers and is always willing to lend a hand. Mrs. Bertozzi makes a positive impact in every role she takes on around the building and we thank her for her dedication!

Mr. Hurley has quickly built strong, positive relationships with students. He makes intentional connections with each student, creating a welcoming and supportive classroom environment where students feel comfortable and engaged. His positive energy and sense of humor make him a joy to be around, and students naturally respond to his presence. He also communicates effectively with staff, contributing to a collaborative and cohesive team. He is attentive and proactive in ensuring student safety at all times, while also supporting students in staying focused and participating in classroom activities. His ability to connect with students, support his team, and create a safe and positive learning environment has already made a significant educational impact. Kelley Inmon, Substitute Teacher
What truly sets Ms. Inmon apart is her genuine investment in our students. When she arrives, she is flexible and jumps in where she is needed. She doesn't just supervise our students; she connects. She takes the time to learn their unique personalities, identifying what motivates them and what might trigger a challenge. Because she subs for us often and she cares about each child's needs, she has developed a sense of what works for each learner. Most impressively, she possesses the professional humility to ask for guidance when she encounters a new situation, ensuring the students always receive the best possible support. And she never sits still - if she isn't helping students, she is looking for ways to support the teachers. We are so lucky to have Ms. Inmon subbing on our campus!

Ms. Morrow is truly caring, supportive, and always willing to help wherever she is needed. She's flexible, patient, and a strong team player who makes the SPED department at FTE run smoothly. She goes above and beyond her job duties and understands both the emotional and academic needs of the students she works with, responding with kindness, respect, and compassion. Her positive attitude and warm presence make her a joy to be around, and she makes a difference every single day.
