Parent Volunteer STAAR Monitors Needed


FTE parent volunteers are needed to serve as restroom monitors during our STAAR testing days (April 9 & 10, May 13th - 15th). Monitoring is very easy and we suggest that you bring a book or magazine to read.  Please help by signing up for one or more volunteer spots.  We ask that each of our volunteers report to the FTE office 5 to 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time slot.  Is you should have any questions please contact Bonnie Rosson at 512-732-9160 x24008 or brosson@eanesisd.netWe appreciate your support!

Eanes ISD Adoption of New English Language Arts Materials


Eanes ISD is in the process of evaluating new English Language Arts resources for the coming school year.  We invite parent input as we evaluate state approved adoption materials.

Forest Trail Elementary will be displaying these materials for the public on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm.  Parents are welcome to sign in at the front office and visit Room 43 to browse these materials and provide feedback to the district.  We will have a QR code that is linked to a Google Form to submit input. Please have a QR Code Reader available on your device (newer iPhones have them built in).

Eva Schloss is a Holocaust survivor, peace activist, international speaker, teacher, a humanitarian and also the step-sister of Anne Frank (posthumously.) Eva has an incredible story of survival, grit, loss and ultimate triumph of the human spirit against all odds. General Admission is Free.

Learn about the proposed $80 million bond election to be held on May 4, 2019.  The proposed bond requires no tax rate increase and includes projects under safety & security, student programs & support, energy efficiency & conservation, facilities as well as co-curricular and extra-curricular spaces.
