PRINCIPALLY SPEAKING

Thank you to everyone who traveled to Palm Springs last weekend in support of Forest Trail!

The Belmont was full of folks, and it was so nice to see everyone out.  As much as I enjoy seeing you here, it is always a treat to see people away from the trail.  The food, music and conversations are always a treat I look forward to every year.   Thank you to everyone who had a hand in making this evening possible: The Auction Committee in their planning, The Centerpiece Contingent for their work with the class art projects, The Design and Décor Delegation for transporting us to the desert, The Gourmet Group for the refreshments and desserts, The Greenskeepers for manning the putting green, The Bling Bureau for the jewelry drop, the host with the most, Sam Boone, for emceeing the evening, and the crew of auction spotters.

Let's do it again next year!

SCHOOL NEWS

Forest Trail would like to congratulate all of our Science Fair participants!

We had excellent projects from every grade level.  Our judges were very surprised with the understanding of challenging science concepts, and they were impressed with how well our children conducted themselves with respect and poise.  Thank you to everyone who helped make this event successful!

Our Forest Trail would like to specifically congratulate our top 3 projects from every grade level.  Projects in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades have the opportunity to continue further to the Austin Regional Science Fest next month.

THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE 2019 FTE FOOD & DIAPER DRIVE DONORS!

Image

Thank you Forest Trail for a successful Food & Diaper drive in support of Central Texas Food Bank! Our families came together and donated more than 2,000 items! When we get our final numbers from the food bank on number of pounds of food donated and the number of people fed by our drive, we will report that information here. Bennett Dharamsi from Ms. Dunagan's class is our raffle winner and will have a photo shoot soon with Forest the Falcon! Learn more about Central Texas Food Bank and how you can help keep Central Texans fed here.
