Donate Gently-Used Clothing and Help FTE Build a Second House

Our Falcons are funding a second house at the Community First! Village – and your gently-used clothing and household items can help them achieve their goal.

Bring items to the FTE back porch area anytime between now and March 2nd. There are signs posted where to leave your items. Please place books, C.D.s, and DVDs in their designated location and place clothing, etc. under their appropriate sign. The "hard" items will be sold at Half Price Books, and the "soft" items will be sold through Savers.  Please rubber band shoes into pairs before dropping them off.

FTE's goal is to raise between four and five thousand dollars. We need to fill the equivalent of 240 33-gallon size trash bags.  Acceptable donations include clothing, shoes, accessories, books, C.D.s, and linens (no furniture).  Your donations are tax-deductible.

Please help us spread the word in asking for donations. Possible sources for outside donations might include hotels, restaurants, dry cleaners and fitness centers. Those places probably replace linens at set times of the year and might be willing to donate to our cause. If you have a connection to a place that you think might be open to help us, please contact Jane Lewis via jlewis@eanesisd.net.

Forest Trail is holding this FUNDrive in partnership with Savers, a global thrift organization.

Thank you!
