Booster Club Fundraising

Major Fund Raisers
The Forest Trail Booster Club hosts 3 major fund raisers:

  • Back-to-School Bingo Night (early Fall)
A family evening to welcome everyone back to school while playing bingo for big cash prizes. A rare opportunity to join your kids for an evening of fun that doesn’t involve any TV, movies or video games. A guaranteed fun time with guest appearances by Forest the Falcon. Wacky, fun and lucky hats, clothes, and tokens are encouraged!
Find out more from our Bingo Page.

  • Auction Night (Winter)
Find out more from our Auction Website.  This is an adult-only evening including dinner, music, silent and live auction items.   Auction items include Class Art Projects. It is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Get your babysitter lined up early!

  • Carnival (Spring)
An afternoon of activities for all ages including booths, bouncy slides, pony rides, cake walk, food and fun. A great way to celebrate at the end of the school year.

Other Fund Raisers
Other fundraising efforts throughout the year include:

  • Popcorn - Volunteer parents pop popcorn each Thursday providing a healthy snack for our kids that raises money for our school.   If you are interested in volunteering, you can sign up for a shift by clicking here.

  • Sally Foster Gift Wrap Sale (November)   Order on-line throughout the year.  Use code 0358403 for FTE to receive credit!

  • Box Tops for Education

  • School Store - The Forest Trail School Store is run by our volunteer chairs Sheild Medford and Jill Bustamante. Funds raised through the school store are entirely dedicated for teacher scholarships and staff development.  Gift Coupons to the school store can be purchased in the front office.  They make wonderful party favors for gym parties, etc.

  • Other Joint Ventures including (see below for me details):

  • Chik-Fil-A

  • Lost Creek Country Club

  • Target

  • Smoothie King

  • Westbank Dry Cleaners

  • Westlake Tae-Kwan-Do

GENERAL MILLS BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

We get 10 cents
for every box top you send in!
On many items, especially General Mills products, you will find a "box tops for education" coupon. Clip the coupon and submit them to your child's homeroom teacher with the student's name on the back. Prior to each spirit assembly, we will count the box tops from each class. A trophy is presented at the spirit assembly for each grade to the homeroom teacher's class who has collected the most box tops during that period. In addition, there will be one student whose name is drawn from each grade and they receive a school store certificate. We hope to earn around $2000 each year from this simple project. So PLEASE clip so we can count!!! Thank you for your participation. If you have any questions, please email Kathy Hopke at khopke@austin.rr.com.

FTE Recycle Program
Collect your neighbors catalogues, newspapers, papers and bring them to the green and yellow ABITIBI Paper Retriever on the back side of the school just before the building on the right! Every time we fill the bin, 17 trees are saved! Go Green!

JOINT VENTURES
Following are businesses in our community that give Forest Trail a percentage of your purchases.

  FTE Thursdays at Chik-Fil-A

The last Thursday of every month is FTE's Spirit Night at Chik-Fil-A.  Once you have paid for your order, place your receipt in the appropriately marked receptacle and 10% of your purchase price will be donated to the FTE Booster Club.

  Lost Creek Country Club

Forest Trail Elementary is excited to announce the new partnership between Lost Creek Country Club and our school! FTE families make up a large portion of LCCC memberships and the club would like to invite any FTE family to come and enjoy a fun outing at the club to learn what it has to offer. Any family who decides to join and mentions this partnership will be able to deduct a portion of their initiation fee and donate that money directly to the FTE Booster Club. Additionally the club will be offering an incredible auction package to our Annual Auction to say thank you to our school for supporting the club. The package will include a golf membership initiation fee waiver, a tennis membership initiation fee waiver, free tennis clinics, free yoga/pilates classes, fun days at the club, and several weeks of free camps for kids! Please call Pam Staulcup at 892-1205 for more information!

Forest Trail and Target -- Take Charge of Education:

We've discovered a terrific way to raise funds for our school. It's super-easy, and all you have to do is use your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. We will receive a percentage of the amount of each purchase in the form of a cash donation from Target through the Take Charge of Education® program. It's easy. Just visit target.com/tcoe, or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school. So if you're going to Target anyway, please consider using your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. Big thanks to those who are already doing their part to make a great school even better.
