Prescription Drug Take Back Day: Saturday, April 29th

posted Apr 21, 2017, 10:38 AM by Bonnie Rosson

An Important Message from the Eanes ISD Student/Staff Health Advisory Committee (SSHAC):

The Partnership for Drug-Free Kids reports that "two-thirds of teens who report abuse of prescription medicine are getting them from friends, family, and acquaintances." Help us prevent drug addiction and promote safety by ensuring that 1) expired medications are disposed of safely and that 2) current medications are stored in secure locations.

On Saturday, April 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Barton Creek Square Mall parking lot, you may drop off unused and expired prescription drugs and over-the-counter cough medicines.

To find out more about medicine abuse and what you can do to protect or get help for someone in your family, visit the Medicine Abuse Project at
drugfree.org.

See the attached for additional drop-off locations.

Help us keep our kids safe!
