Please mark Thursday, January 26, on your calendar and plan to join us for our school's annual Open House and Science Fair Viewing to be held between 6:00 and 7:30 P.M.
Our budding scientists will have their work products on display from the Science Fair in the school's library. Even if your child did not participate in the event this year, visiting the fair is a great way to gain information for those who may wish to enter in the future or simply learn more about the scientific process. It is requested that projects be taken home that evening in order for our library to resume normal operations the following day.
Though many of you have been here frequently, don't underestimate how important this evening is for your children. You taking the time to see where your child spends the majority of his/her days during the week is very significant. The children are very proud of their accomplishments here at school and get great pleasure in sharing their experiences with you and other significant people in their lives.
As always, parking will be at a premium. Please come together as a family and/or with friends to reduce congestion.
Today’s high-pressure, fast-paced culture can interfere with healthy child development. When we are too focused on test scores, performance, and grades, we may deny kids the time and energy they need to effectively tackle the demanding work of growing up.
This workshop examines the tensions that can occur between students, parents, and educators over issues such as homework, grades, and the culture of competition. We’ll offer parents research-based strategies to create healthier home and school environment. All Parents are encouraged to attend.

As we communicated last May, Eanes ISD has eliminated guest ridership on our school buses and eliminated stops to alternate locations for after-school programs. While we realize this may cause an inconvenience to some families, we made the decision based on bus route and fuel efficiency, management in terms of the amount of consistent riders on our routes, and equal transportation offerings for all of our families.
The definition of a guest rider is a student who rides a bus other than the one they are assigned. If a student remains on his/her assigned bus but gets off at a different stop along the route, which is allowed because he/she is already accounted on that bus.
Thank you for helping us to improve our transportation services and ensure consistent practices!
The Eanes ISD now requires a note from parents/guardians for all student absences. Please email email@example.com immediately regarding any absences your child may have. Any absence that does not have a note on file will remain unexcused on your student’s record until a note is received.
