Parent's Night Out - Let us watch the kids!

Open to all current EISD Students*

 

Details below:


When: Friday, May 5th, 2017

Drop off/Check in: 6:30 p.m.

Pick up: before or by 10:00 p.m.

Where: Forest Trail Elementary Cafeteria & Gym

Cost: $25 for first child; siblings $20/each

What: Intended to offer parents a night of supervised and fun activities for their children.  Pizza, snacks, games, crafts, and a movie. Participants must be pre-registered by Wednesday, May 3rd in order to participate.

EISD Young Writers' Camp 2017

EISD is offering Elementary & Secondary Young Writer's Camps June 12th-16th. Young Writers' Camp is a camp where students have opportunities to explore their interest in writing in small groups and to learn more about the craft of writing.  Please see the attached for details and registration information.
Registration deadline is May 26th.

Prescription Drug Take Back Day: Saturday, April 29th

An Important Message from the Eanes ISD Student/Staff Health Advisory Committee (SSHAC):

The Partnership for Drug-Free Kids reports that "two-thirds of teens who report abuse of prescription medicine are getting them from friends, family, and acquaintances." Help us prevent drug addiction and promote safety by ensuring that 1) expired medications are disposed of safely and that 2) current medications are stored in secure locations.

On Saturday, April 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Barton Creek Square Mall parking lot, you may drop off unused and expired prescription drugs and over-the-counter cough medicines.

2017 EISD Elementary Summer Academy

The 2017 EISD Elementary Summer Academy classes are fundamental reading and math classes for students who are currently in grades K – 5 during this 2016-2017 school year. The classes will be offered in two separate sessions daily, Monday through Thursday, June 5th through June 22nd, at Barton Creek Elementary. The program is designed to support students who need additional help mastering grade level objectives. Instruction will be based on individual student profiles provided by the student’s current classroom teacher. Profiles will identify the course objectives that need additional reinforcement.  The registration deadline for EISD Elementary Summer Academy is Tuesday, May 16th.  Please see the attached for detailed information and the registration forms.
