We Need Your Help!
Forest Trail is blessed to be in a situation in which families are able to volunteer, visit and participate in a variety of ways. We love our families and all they do to contribute to our successes. Please help us ensure student safety by signing in at the office whenever you visit our campus in any capacity. Our staff loves our Falcons very much and will investigate any adult who is has not been identified as having been checked in the office. I've listed a few reminders regarding our FTE procedures and expectations. Thank you in advance for your continued cooperation.
Cafeteria:
If you are delivering lunch for a child, simply bring their lunch to the front office, and our amazing staff will ensure its delivery. Should you decide to stay and have lunch with your child, we ask that you sign in to the front office and obtain a Visitor's Badge.
Volunteers:
We love our helpers and life would be very different without them. All volunteers are required to enter through the front doors and obtain a Visitor's Badge from the office prior to checking in for your assignment. Thank you for the generous donation of your time.
Playground:
Be advised that teachers will not release students to parents from the playground without first seeing a "Check Out Sheet". These are obtained in the front office when a parent signs their student out from campus for an appointment or similar situation. The playground, being a campus shared space, requires the same protocol as the physical building. Occasionally, recess precedes lunch and for those arriving early, it presents the opportunity to observe students from the fields, road and/or fence. Parents must have a badge for these instances as well.
Absences:
If your child will be absent for any reason (illness, doctor appointments, traveling, etc.), the district requires a parent to send an email to fteattendance@eanesisd.net, reporting the absence and the reason for the absence.

FTE Destination Imagination Team Formation Q&A Meeting
WHEN: Wednesday, September 20th, 7:45 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.*
WHERE: FTE Art Room 20
*Intro for those new to DI at 7:45 a.m., followed by team formation efforts. If you already know all about the program, feel free to come share your experiences or join us at 8:00 a.m. for the discussion.
FTE students can join friends in the cafeteria until the first bell.
